02Services

Complete care for your vehicle

Four ways we can help. Pick one to see what's included.

03How it works

From warning light to back on the road

Our general process, in five stages. You approve the work before it starts. Every vehicle is different, so the details vary.

BookTell us what the vehicle is doingStep 1 of 5
  1. 01 · Book

Tell us what the vehicle is doing

Book online or call us. Tell us what's happening — noises, warning lights, when it happens — it narrows the search before we start.

  2. 02 · Diagnose

    We test rather than guess

Scan tools read what the vehicle recorded, then we test to find which part actually failed.

  3. 03 · Explain

    You see what we found

Before any work begins, we show you what we found and walk through your options.

  4. 04 · Approve

    Nothing proceeds without your say-so

We separate safety items from what can wait, so you set the priorities.

  5. 05 · Repair

Quality parts, and updates along the way

We use OEM-spec parts and keep you updated, asking approval before anything beyond what you agreed to.

04Signature service

Complete Ride Optimization

Standard balancing corrects weight distribution in a tire and wheel assembly. It does not account for variation in the tire and wheel themselves, or for which corner of the vehicle each assembly ends up on. Those are the steps most shops skip.

  1. 01

    Tire-to-wheel matching

Road force measurement identifies variation in each tire and wheel. We pair them to cancel out high and low spots, reducing the force variation that causes vibration.

  2. 02

    Precision balancing

After matching, we balance each assembly to address remaining static or dynamic imbalance.

  3. 03

    Strategic positioning

We place each tire-wheel assembly in the position on the vehicle where it will have the least impact on ride quality — smoothest assemblies at the front, where steering feel matters most.

  4. 04

    Wheel alignment

Proper alignment helps the vehicle track straight, addresses alignment-related pull, and promotes even tire wear — protecting the investment in the new tires and the work we just did.

05Repair stories

Real repairs. Real results.

Documented jobs from our bays — the concern that came in, what testing found, and how it was resolved.

Hands working with a wrench in a vehicle's engine bay
Intermittent stall diagnosis

Stalling at red lights — with a cause we didn't expect

Concern
Stalled on takeoff from a stop and restarted once the engine settled. Multiple test drives did not reproduce it.
What we found
Worn engine mounts let the main computer connector touch the firewall edge under firm acceleration.
Outcome
Recreating the customer's exact conditions — firm acceleration from a stop — is what made the diagnosis possible.

Oil leak diagnosis

A persistent oil leak — and a $25 fix

Concern
An oil leak and odor that continued after gasket work at another shop — about $831 spent, according to the customer.
What we found
A severely damaged oil filler cap seal — it leaked while driving, so idle-only checks could miss it.
Outcome
The leak was resolved by locating the actual source before any further repairs.

An engine bay with the battery and electrical components visible
Charging system diagnosis

Only 1,200 miles — but mileage didn't tell the whole story

Concern
Difficult starting during the previous year's cold weather, on a vehicle with just 1,200 miles.
What we found
A weak battery and an intermittently failing alternator — and surges had already damaged the power control module.
Outcome
Low mileage and long periods of sitting do not eliminate age-related issues.

“I had a great experience at Complete Automotive Repairs in Crosby. The staff was friendly, professional, and kept me updated throughout the entire repair process. Their communication was excellent, so I always knew what was going on with my vehicle. I also had my car detailed, and they did an amazing job. The attention to detail exceeded my expectations, and the pricing was very reasonable for the quality of work. The team was efficient, honest, and made the whole experience stress-free. I highly recommend Complete Automotive Repairs to anyone looking for reliable automotive repairs and outstanding detailing services.”

“I brought my 2021 BMW X3 to Complete Automotive Repair with a coolant sensor light that kept coming back on. From the very first visit, they stood out letting me know that coolant shouldn’t need refill but they’d check it out. After confirming my coolant was very low and refilling at no cost, they told me if the sensor came on again take vehicle in for a deeper check. Well it did come back on within 2 weeks. So I made an appointment for repairs and dropped my vehicle off. What impressed me most was their transparency. Instead of just billing me for surprise repairs, they called me in to physically show me what they found. They explained everything clearly and gave me options: fix just the initial issue now or address everything at once. That kind of honesty and communication is rare and appreciated. They kept my car for exactly a week, and it’s been running flawlessly for the past two week, better than before, actually. For a BMW owner, I expect premium pricing, but I also got premium service. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely communicative. This was my first experience with Complete Automotive Repair, and I’m confident I won’t be going anywhere else. Highly recommend. 10/10”

“went in to get my brakes checked because a sensor warning came on, but there was no noise or issues at the time. After having them replaced here, my brakes are now making a loud, constant noise that wasn’t there before. This is frustrating because I came in with a minor warning and left with a noticeable problem. I expected better communication, quality work and a proper inspection I appreciate your response, but I need to clarify a few things. At no point was I told that choosing not to replace the rotors would cause my brakes to make a loud noise afterward. If that had been clearly explained, I would have made a different decision. In fact, I would have rather kept the brake warning light than end up with loud, constant noise after the service. That doesn’t make sense to me, and it’s not something I would have agreed to. Also, I want to be very clear—money was not an issue. I was never told you could “work with me on pricing,” and that was not a factor in my decision at all. My decision was based strictly on the information I was given at the time. I brought my vehicle in because of a sensor, and there was no noise before the service. Now there is, immediately after the work was done. That’s why this situation is frustrating. Clear communication matters, especially when it comes to something as important as brakes. Had I been properly informed about the likely outcome, I would have chosen differently.”

“Complete Automotive Repair was able to sevice my Hyundai Santa Fe without hesitation or delay. I walked in and explained that my vehicle was past it's 72,000 maintenance check and the service representative, who was polite and professional, was able to get me serviced very quickly. Also the representative explained that within a few months, I will need to replace my brake pads which I truly appreciated. I would definitely recommend Complete Automotive Repair for your vehicle service.”

08FAQ

Questions, answered

Not seeing yours? Call (281) 462-9900 and describe what the vehicle is doing — that conversation is usually enough to point us in the right direction.

Do I need an appointment?

Booking online or calling ahead means we can set aside time for your vehicle, which is the quickest way to get looked at. You're also welcome to call and describe the problem first if you're not sure what you need.

Will you tell me what's wrong before you start work?

Yes. We show you what we found and explain the options before any repair begins, and nothing goes ahead without your approval. When an inspection turns up several items, we tell you what we'd address first and what can wait.

What services do you offer?

Auto repair (maintenance, diagnostics, brakes, A/C, electrical, steering and suspension, alignment, tires and major engine work), collision paint and body repair, tint and glass services, and car wash and detail services. Call us at (281) 462-9900 to talk about your vehicle.

Are you open on Saturdays?

Yes — Saturday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, in addition to Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We're closed Sundays.

Can I spread the cost of a repair?

Two third-party providers offer financing: Synchrony Car Care and Snap Finance. Both applications are handled by the lender, not by us — approval, amounts, and terms are theirs to set. Our financing page has the details for each.

What parts do you use?

Parts used in your repair meet or exceed OEM specifications.
