Complete Ride Optimization
Matched. Balanced. Positioned. Aligned.
Complete Ride Optimization combines four steps to help address vibration and pull and improve ride quality beyond balancing alone.
The four steps work together: First, we match each tire to its ideal wheel using road force measurement — pairing high spots on the tire with low spots on the wheel to cancel out variation. Second, we perform final precision balancing on the matched assembly. Third, we strategically position each assembly on the vehicle — putting the smoothest assemblies where they matter most. Fourth, we set proper alignment to address alignment-related pull and help promote even tire wear. Results depend on tire, wheel, and suspension condition.
The Four-Step Process
Tire-to-Wheel Matching
Road force measurement identifies variation in each tire and wheel. We pair them to cancel out high and low spots, reducing the force variation that causes vibration.
Precision Balancing
After matching, we balance each assembly to address remaining static or dynamic imbalance after matching.
Strategic Positioning
We place each tire-wheel assembly in the position on the vehicle where it will have the least impact on ride quality — smoothest assemblies at the front, where steering feel matters most.
Wheel Alignment
Proper alignment helps the vehicle track straight, addresses alignment-related pull, and promotes even tire wear — protecting the investment in the new tires and the work we just did.
