We offer car wash and detail services. Our wash follows a set order: rinse, foam, rinse off the foam, wash, rinse, then dry.
Road film and fine dust are abrasive. Dragged across the paint by brushes or cloth, they leave the fine scratches and swirl marks you see in direct sunlight, a common drawback of automatic washes. Rinsing and foaming first lifts most of that grit away before the wash touches the paint, which helps reduce scratching.
What's right depends on your vehicle and what you'd like done: a wash, a detail, or both. Give us a call or stop by to talk through the options.

How we handle car wash & detail

Rinse
We start by rinsing the vehicle to knock off loose dirt, dust and road film.

Foam
A coat of foam clings to the surface and loosens what's stuck on, so grit lifts away instead of being rubbed in.

Rinse off the foam
We rinse the foam away, taking the loosened grit with it before the wash begins.

Wash
With most of the abrasive dirt already gone, the wash touches the paint with less grit in the way.

Rinse and dry
A final rinse removes the soap, then we dry the vehicle to avoid water spots.
FAQ
Questions we get asked
Why not just use an automatic wash?
Automatic washes are quick, but their brushes and cloth strips can drag road film and dust across the paint, a common source of fine scratches. Our order of rinse, foam, rinse, wash, rinse and dry takes the abrasive dirt off first, which helps reduce that risk. It can't remove scratches that are already in the paint.
